Have you ever thought about a world without color, music, writings among other artistic things? What comes to my mind is a post apocalyptic world.
Even in such a place, human beings would still find a way to make life beautiful. God knew what he was doing; he made the universe a one amazing place.
Have you ever thought why there are different types of fruits and vegetables? Each with a different colour, shape and taste? Have you ever thought why there are mountains, oceans, waterfalls or stars? God made them all for our amusement and so that we are as comfortable as we should be.
Then think about the people who can paint or make music. Even king Solomon loved to create poems. I think that is the best gift God could have given us (well, ofcourse after life and love) And that is the best gift that anyone can give me; Something that simple yet thoughtful; something that's says alot without even trying. Art, for me, is the only way I can run away without leaving home.
So, I relish this gift that someone special got me. I love it because it's not about it's price, it's something beautiful that I'll always have forever.
