We all thought that 2020 was going to be a beautiful year full of blessings. I'm sorry, 2019, for all the terrible things I might have said about you.
2020 started on a good note then the menace that is Covid 19 appeared from nowhere. Is this virus a man made curse? A plague sent down by God to punish us?
I personally think that this is the devil's work. His unrelenting anger towards God and the goodness of some mankind has made him send us war, famine, natural calamities and plagues since a long time ago. This strange things have not been new to us and one would ask, is God just watching as these terrible things happen to his creation?
Some people might say that this is God's will but what they probably dont know is that He hates humankind suffering as much as we do. And what they dont also know is that the real ruler of the world right now is the devil 1st Jn 5.19.
If we go back in time, the devil, who was God's favourite son, started to think that his Father was not a good leader. The devil truly believed that God was keeping good things away from Adam and Eve by telling them not to eat the fruit that was from the tree which was in the middle of the garden.
God gave mankind free will and so when the devil manipulated Eve into eating the fruit, He did not kill them. Instead, he allowed them to have children and fill the earth. These children (us) had also the free will to choose who they wanted as their leader. God also gave the devil some time to prove his point. So many people have chosen the devil as their leader and that is why mankind goes to war, is full of lies, cruelty and hatred.
But why has God waited for so long to put an end to the devil? He wants to prove a point; not any government or science can heal the world's problems as you can see. Only He can.
He can fix these problems NOW but that would leave human beings thinking that they did it by themselves. Trust me, the hour is coming when Jah will fix all these things. And that day, all those good people who had died from war, draught, plagues etc will be resurrected. The former things will be no more; death and suffering will be no more. Jah will also destroy the devil and the world will be a peaceful place forever and ever.
God gave us a gift; free will. Use it wisely. I personally believe that good people die before the wicked ones. Jah is just being patient with this wicked world so that they can get to know Him and change their ways. This is the devil's time, but he doesn't have to be your ruler.
